I have been taking photographs for over 50 years starting mostly in Monochrome which I processed in the darkroom. During this time I have gained the Fellowship distinction from the Royal Photographic Society and also gained the MFIAP award and the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain Masters Distinction MPAGB. My main subject interests are Landscape, Still Life and Abstract, both in colour and mono using Sony Digital Cameras. I exhibit my photographs Nationally and Internationally in various Photo Salons around the world. I have also had photographs published in Digital Photo Magazine, Photography Monthly, Digital SLR Photography, FPME, Creative Mono Yearbook, Guide to Great Photography, The  Landscape Photographer of the Year Book collection 01, 02 .09 and 15, also The Essential Guide to Landscape Photography, The Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year Collections 3, 4, 5, 7, and Runner up in the Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year 2018 competition. I get great pleasure from sharing my photo technique with others through my talks to Camera Clubs and Societies. , I am a member of Stirling CC and Hon life member of Edinburgh Photographic Society, also member of the Scottish Photographic Federation of which I am a past President.
